Beautiful location, lovely room with ample power points and tea/coffee facilities provided. En suite had shower gel, fluffy towels, and even dressing gowns. Friendly and accommodating host, breakfast selection chosen the night before. Wifi worked well, except for one device.

The peaceful garden provided a perfect retreat after a long day of traveling. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

Located in a very peaceful area surrounded by hills in the Borders, this old manor house offered a comfortable stay. The rooms were simple yet comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The friendly host provided excellent service, and the breakfast was a highlight with a wide variety of homemade jams and honey. The house also had free WiFi and TV in all rooms, adding convenience to the stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel on a working farm. The location is so peaceful, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The old house is full of character and my room had very comfy beds. I loved the cozy atmosphere, especially with the active fireplace in the dining room. The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh eggs from their resident chickens and a great selection of options. The homemade jam was a delicious touch.

During our Thanksgiving getaway in the Scottish Borders, we had a fantastic stay at a charming B&B. the cozy rooms were equipped with all the necessary amenities, such as bathrobes, and mints along with tea and coffee, which made us feel right at home. the location was ideal – tucked away in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful gardens, and still close enough to the main road to allow easy access to nearby attractions. the breakfast was also a highlight, with a variety of options, including a full cooked breakfast, that left us feeling satisfied and ready for our day's adventures.

While we had an overall pleasant stay, there were a few minor drawbacks. the Wi-Fi connection was not very strong, which could be a hassle for some guests who need to stay connected.

Our experience was marred by the attitude of the host. After expressing that I wasn't feeling well and couldn't finish all the food, the host loudly complained about the "waste of food" and bad-mouthed us.
