I recently had a really good time at a hotel in the Gretna area. Despite the usual wet Scottish weather, the hotel's location was perfect for accessing all the attractions in the area. The staff were friendly and informative, making my experience excellent. The rooms were well-decorated with comfortable beds and a nice view. The breakfast included was delicious and a great way to start the day. The attention to detail and basic amenities, including tea/coffee facilities, added to the overall value for money.

All was fine; nothing to complain about.

The rooms in the annex and the lodge hotel were lovely, quiet, and clean. The location of the hotel was very convenient, just a 5-second walk to the main hotel from the annex. The evening meals were fantastic, and the breakfasts, both full and continental, were a great start to the day. The couple who run the hotel were extremely friendly and accommodating.

We stayed at Hunters Lodge for a stopover on our way to and from Scotland. The location was perfect, right in the middle of where we needed to be. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. Our room had a nostalgic charm and was exceptionally comfortable. The homemade meals, both dinner and breakfast, were delicious and freshly cooked. The little touches like the friendly cat, fans in the room, and thoughtful amenities like makeup remover, made our stay feel welcoming and enjoyable. We would definitely return if in the area again!

My Xmas at this cozy hotel was a delightful experience. the rooms were spacious and tidy, and the beds were so comfortable that I had a great night's sleep. the location was spot on, with plenty of nearby attractions within walking distance and a shopping outlet just a short drive away. I particularly enjoyed the warm and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. the festive decorations brightened up the cheerful atmosphere and made me feel right at home.

My only issue during my stay was the limited breakfast schedule. Unfortunately, it was challenging to make it to breakfast during the short window of availability.

The only negative aspect I experienced during my stay was a slight discomfort with the bed. However, this minor inconvenience was overshadowed by the hotel's many other positive qualities.
