had a fantastic stay at this lovely pub/hotel in berkhamsted. exceeded our expectations with superb breakfast, friendly staff who organized a taxi promptly, and a large comfortable room with fully accessible shower. the bacon at breakfast deserves a special mention!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Berkhamsted. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. Additionally, the breakfast served was delicious and the portions were generous.

Great location, with plenty of options for drinks and meals nearby. The room was spacious and had a comfy bed, along with a separate bathroom and toilet. The towels provided were lovely, and all toiletries were provided as well. They also had coffee and tea making facilities, along with a fridge and even a bottle of wine if needed. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home.

The shower lacked a bit of pressure, but it still worked. some rooms near the function room didn't receive a warning about potential noise from events, which caused some inconvenience.

I recently traveled on a business trip and had a great experience. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the town with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The breakfast was really delicious with a variety of options to choose from, including fresh fruit and pastries. I also loved that the rooms were spacious and comfortably furnished, providing a great night's sleep.

The hotel could improve on a few things. the cleanliness of the room really let it down, with dusty walls and dirty lampshades.

The food at this hotel was absolutely fantastic. We had a wonderful Easter meal with our family, and everyone loved it. The menu had a great selection of dishes, and the belly pork main course was a standout. The prices were reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food. the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely, with cozy decor and a nice layout. It created a warm and inviting environment for our celebration.

The accommodation at this hotel left much to be desired. Our room was dark and damp, with a small window near the ceiling.

The staff was friendly and couldn't do enough for us, from check-in to breakfast and the bar staff at the party. The location in the center of town was perfect, with easy access to everything.
