I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The spacious and warm room was equipped with a good hairdryer, and the mirrors were well placed throughout. The check-in and check-out process was easy, and I felt safe during my stay. The cooked breakfast was superb, although I would have liked to see more fruit options available. The staff were excellent, going above and beyond to assist me. I was able to borrow scissors, sellotape, and other items, and the manager even helped me find a route to a local garage. The friendly and helpful staff made my stay truly enjoyable. Parking was easy and convenient, and the restaurant food was also good. this hotel provided real value for money and I will definitely return in the future. Special mention goes to the lady who ran the breakfasts, as she was exceptionally hardworking, pleasant, and efficient.

great stay at marston's inns, exceeded my expectations. lovely and clean room, had a good rest. the surrounding area and gardens were pleasant, especially the outside seating area.

The stylish decor and good double glazing provided a comfortable and quiet atmosphere. The staff were pleasant and there were plenty of pillows on the comfortable bed. Despite a few drawbacks, we would recommend this hotel overall.

The bathroom fittings were sub-standard in terms of maintenance, with a stuck bath plug and dripping taps.

The hotel's location was convenient, with several shops like Boots, Toy Store, and Argos located behind it. Additionally, the hotel had a kitchen area equipped with a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher, which was a great idea. The free and easy parking was much appreciated. I also liked that my room was on the ground floor, so I didn't have to carry my luggage far. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Uncomfortable mattress and lack of smaller portion options. the mattress was too hard for our liking, and we would have preferred a softer one.

I recently stayed at Kings Highway for two nights and had a great experience. The location was convenient, close to the A38 but surprisingly quiet. The room was reminiscent of a Premier Inn, with a super comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. Everything was clean and the bathroom had nice Dove toiletries. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the free on-site parking. I would happily stay here again in the future.

It's also nice to have a sofa in the room. Breakfast in the pub is tasty, with a good selection of hot drinks.

The restaurant on-site offered tasty food and we were happy with the ease of visiting nearby attractions. the staff at the bar and front desk were friendly and efficient, making check-in a breeze.

the breakfast was only average and the coffee was not good, with the temperature being left lukewarm. We did complain to a waiter, and they did accommodate us with a proper cafferteria, but the management should consider addressing this issue.
