a delightful stay in cranborne, la fosse at cranborne bed & breakfast truly exceeded expectations. the tasting menu with wine pairings was exceptional value. cozy room, friendly staff, and easy access to beautiful walks made our city break memorable. cons: shower head needed fixing.

The room was real nice, had a big comfy bed with great blackout blinds and a coffee maker, and they even stocked it with fresh milk and water, plus the Cowshed toiletries were a real treat. the young lady at check-in was real nice, and the food at dinner and breakfast was delicious, especially liked the local produce. Though the WiFi only worked for Vodafone, my only gripe was that the duvet was a bit too thick for me. had a lovely time! 😊.

We had a delightful stay at La Fosse and were warmly welcomed by Mark, the owner/chef. The room was immaculate and comfortable, with blackout blinds for a good night's sleep. The highlight was the amazing cooked breakfast, one of the best I've ever had. The Cow Shed toiletries and coffee machine in the room were nice touches. The staff were friendly and responsive, and we enjoyed a delicious evening meal with local produce. a great experience. I would recommend this hotel.

Mark, the chef and proprietor, even prepared a special off-menu dish for my wife, which was a delightful surprise. The breakfasts were outstanding, with a wide variety of cooked options including a perfect bowl of porridge topped with cream and brown sugar. The breakfast buffet had everything we could ask for, from delicious preserves to a fantastic cheese selection. We also had one evening meal at the B&B, which was absolutely delicious. The cheeseboard was particularly impressive, showcasing Mark's knowledge of Dorset cheeses. we had a wonderful time and enjoyed exploring the beautiful surroundings.

As for the hotel breakfast menu, it would have been great to see a bit more attention to cleanliness and freshness. There were some small issues, such as moldy yoghurt and flies in the milk and juice.
