We had a wonderful stay at a beautiful and peaceful cottage in a tranquil location. the room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. the owners went above and beyond to help us, from guiding us to the property in the dark to providing invaluable tips on what to do and where to go. the breakfast was delicious, with homemade bread, jam, and cakes on offer. We also enjoyed the lovely view of the bird feeder and the sightings of amazing red squirrels. the staff were friendly and attentive, recommending walks and pubs. we would definitely return and highly recommend this place to others.

The location is perfect for exploring the stunning landscapes and towns in the area, and it is also easy to drive to other areas around the Lake District thanks to its proximity to the M6. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with the rooms and dining area exceptionally clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfasts served at the hotel were delicious, hearty, and plentiful, with homemade treats such as fresh bread and pastries adding a generous touch.

Lovely homely touches with daily fresh muffins and homemade jams for breakfast. the warm and friendly hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and provided great tips for local attractions. the en suite room was clean, comfortable and had amazing views of the surroundings.

Narrow winding roads to drive to local inns for dinner, but that's part of the charm of a remote location. TV could have been bigger, but it wasn't a big deal as we spent most of our time exploring and relaxing in the beautiful surroundings.
