A Fantastic Retreat in a Charming Cotswold Village

During my recent stay at the Manor House Hotel, I had the pleasure of staying in the luxurious Dolittle suite. This beautiful suite boasted a modern, high-spec bathroom and a remarkably comfortable four-poster bed. I enjoyed the added bonus of an outdoor patio area and access to the stunning hotel gardens. The dining experience at the Michelin-starred restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The picturesque grounds surrounding the hotel provided ample opportunities for leisurely walks. The village itself had two historic pubs that were well worth a visit, and the locals were incredibly friendly, making my weekend break truly relaxing.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the peaceful and beautiful surroundings of the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and offered us a quiet and lovely room. We were pleasantly surprised with welcome champagne and truffle chocolate for our anniversary celebration. The Bybrook restaurant served delicious food and deserved its Michelin one star.

We had a delightful stay at The Manor House Hotel and Golf Club. The surroundings were picturesque and the hotel itself was beautiful. The spacious rooms provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, a great way to start the day. we had a wonderful and relaxing weekend escape from everyday life in this stunning location.

The only minor disappointment was the lack of touristy activities in the area for those looking for a more active weekend.

We got great value for our money at The Manor House. The room was fantastic, with a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The staff treated us like VIPs, always going above and beyond to help us.

As for breakfast, the only thing that could have been better was the variety of food options.

One evening, we decided to try the main restaurant for dinner. Although there was a slight delay in our starter arriving, we brought it to the attention of the staff and they quickly rectified the situation.

The room was absolutely amazing and the champagne provided for our celebration was a lovely touch. The grounds of the hotel were also beautiful, and the staff were friendly and nice.

We stayed in a charming cottage with a comfortable bed, good room lighting, TV, and reliable WiFi. The bathroom was excellent with a spacious layout, a super shower, and a bath with underfloor heating. The hotel walk we did was also enjoyable. The parking facilities were convenient.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a luxurious en-suite that had a jacuzzi and a large walk-in shower. The staff provided excellent service, being friendly and attentive. The breakfast spread was impressive, with something for everyone's taste.

The room was uncomfortably warm, even with the windows open and the fan on. The breakfast service was disorganized, with delays in serving coffee and breakfast, and staff seemed distressed and uncommunicative with guests.

I had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The junior suite was spacious with all the amenities I needed. The bathroom was amazing, with a walk-in shower, bath, and dual sinks. The staff was helpful and the food at the restaurant was excellent. The personalized note and anniversary surprise added a special touch. I can't wait to go back.

my second stay at the manor house in castle combe was even better than the first. the staff went above and beyond to make me feel like royalty, and the elegant atmosphere left a lasting impression. the restaurant served fantastic food with attentive, discreet service. a truly unforgettable experience.

Fireplace needs sealing.

The hotel is located in a charming village surrounded by picturesque views. We stayed in one of the cottages and were pleasantly surprised by the modern features. the room had a cozy and luxurious feel, with a comfortable bed and a high-spec bathroom. One of the highlights was the access to an outdoor patio area and gardens, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or a glass of wine.

the price of breakfast was a bit too expensive, although it was reflective of the overall cost of the stay. However, these minor inconveniences did not detract from the overall positive experience we had at the hotel.
