The room, though compact, was impeccably clean and charmingly decorated. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, making for a refreshing shower experience. The hosts and staff were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The freshly prepared breakfast was delicious, and the evening meal exceeded our expectations. The hotel's location on a main road did result in some traffic noise, but this was to be expected and did not significantly impact our stay. we highly recommend Masons Freehouse for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Stayed 2 nights while doing the 3 Peaks Walk. The room at the back of the property was lovely, clean, and had a great en-suite power shower. Appreciated the coffee making facilities and fridge in the hallway. The hosts were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The pub served delicious meals, and my husband loved the breakfast. a great value stay with everything we needed.

I stayed here after conquering the Yorkshire three peaks on a wet day. Masons offered friendly staff, a nice pint, hot shower, comfy bed, and a great cooked breakfast. The small, family-run pub/hotel/restaurant has been refurbished to a high standard. Pristine, freshly decorated, compact room with immaculate en-suite and a super comfy king-sized bed. Freshly prepared excellent meals and outstanding black pudding. Friendly and accommodating hosts and staff.
