The twin room, with its tall Victorian ceilings and large ensuite bathroom, provides a comfortable and delightful stay. The owners, Lesley and Mark, are friendly and attentive, ensuring that every little detail is taken care of. The variety of choices for breakfast is satisfactory, with fresh and healthy options available.

The bedroom curtains let in too much light, leading to an early wake-up call.

The owners, Lesley and Mark, were incredibly accommodating, making us feel right at home. The twin room had tall ceilings, large ensuite bathroom, and was filled with natural light. The comfortable beds and extensive book collection about the area were a lovely touch. Being situated on the cycle path was perfect for our trip, with easy access to the high street for restaurants and bars. The delicious breakfast provided a great start for our next journey. a wonderful experience as foreign tourists.

The attention to detail was exceptional, with every little thing taken care of. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with modern decor and a perfect TV picture. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of options including fresh and healthy choices. The hosts were always available and ready to assist with a smile. a wonderful experience.

We recently found ourselves in a dire situation when we got caught in the snow on the nearby A30. Desperate for shelter, we called Meadowlea Guest House and explained our predicament. Despite their no-pet policy, they kindly allowed us to bring our dog into their last available room. We were greeted with warmth and friendliness by Mark and Lesley, the owners. The room was clean and cozy, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast that provided us with much-needed energy. The location of the guest house was also convenient, with the town center and a dog-friendly pub within walking distance. Although they don't normally allow pets, we completely understand and respect the decision. We highly recommend this lovely guest house to others in need of a welcoming and accommodating stay. I highly recommend this guest house.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the town and on the cycle path we were on. The service was exceptional, with the housekeeping going above and beyond to ensure our room was comfortable and well-maintained. The room amenities were impressive, with ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities available. We also enjoyed relaxing in the garden furniture and watching the flat-screen TV in our cozy room. The continental breakfast provided was delicious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

The owners went out of their way to accommodate our cycling trip, allowing us to store our bags and even staying up late when we had a minor issue.
