the staff, from Eleonor at Reception to Mary and Tessa in the bar and restaurant, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make my sister's 60th birthday special, even surprising us with a complimentary glass of prosecco. the full breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent, and the spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds and a big smart TV added to the comfortable stay. The hotel also boasts a heated outdoor pool open from May to September, providing a relaxing outdoor recreation option. Cons: I didn’t felt I’m welcome.

The location was ideal for our Surrey Three Peaks Challenge, right by the hills and a very cozy decoration in the hotel. We loved the outdoor seating and swimming pool, the perfect spots to chill out in the excellent weather. Only downside was the room was a bit chilly upon arrival due to overactive air conditioning, but that was quickly sorted once we turned it off. 🌞.
