Our group of friends had a fantastic time at the retreat. The location was perfect, with easy access to the market, shops, and pubs. We loved the stunning views of the trees and river from the balcony and the comfortable beds made for a great night's sleep. The fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining area were perfect for our group. The prompt service, like the quick replacement of a damaged iPod dock, was greatly appreciated.

We had such a wonderful time at the Hay Retreats Villa! The house was beautifully decorated, and we loved the artwork and modern touches. The doors opening onto the balcony allowed us to enjoy the views and sounds of the trees and river. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace in the good weather. The house was conveniently located in the center of Hay, close to the market, shops, and pubs. It was the perfect base for our walking trip, and having two cars made it even more convenient. We will definitely return to explore more paths and the Brecon Beacons.

the location was so convenient, just a minute's walk from the town center. the furnishings were stylish and the beds and sofas were incredibly comfortable. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen with high-quality utensils. it was a fantastic experience and I am already planning a return trip.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at Hay Retreats. The room was beautiful and well-designed, with attention to detail and plenty of space. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the town and with stunning views of the river. The staff were friendly and the information folder was very useful.

The morning meal could have been improved with fresher options.

This retreat is in an ideal location, with a stunning view overlooking the River Wye. The rooms are well-equipped and very clean, providing a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and leads to a peaceful balcony/patio where you can enjoy breakfast while watching the river flow by. The management and owner are quick and efficient in addressing any issues, ensuring a pleasant experience.

The fireplace was difficult to start and could use some improvement.
