We had a fantastic stay at this guest house. the rooms were beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and fabulous amenities, including a massive TV and great tea and coffee facilities. We loved the sustainability elements, like the use of fresh milk in pots instead of plastic containers. the host provided excellent dinner recommendations and the bar and lounge were perfect for relaxing with drinks and games. the location was ideal, close to the seaside and NY beauty spots. the breakfast was tremendous, and the host went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect for us. Perfect in every way.

I had a fantastic stay at this unique and welcoming guest house in a special location. the owner, Helen, made me feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. the breakfast selection was excellent, with delicious fruit and yogurt. the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. I also enjoyed the bar with its cozy fireplace and table football, as well as the pool table in the adjacent room. There is a nearby pub that serves tasty food, and the guest house is conveniently located near bus stops and main roads. one of the best guest houses I've stayed in.

The location was perfect, right by a lovely, massive and very quiet beach that you wouldn't otherwise probably visit. The hotel facilities were great, with clean and comfortable rooms that were beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure that everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it.

We recently had a delightful stay at a guest house tucked away in a beautiful little village. The hotel's attention to detail was impressive, with rooms that were not only comfortable, but also bursting with character. The full-size bathrooms, complete with bathtubs, were a welcome touch. The homemade Blackberry muffins at breakfast were a delicious treat that we thoroughly enjoyed later in the day. The hotel's location on cycle route 1 made it easy for us to explore the surrounding coastal towns and villages, adding to our overall fantastic experience.

The Moonfleet Guest House is a hidden gem located away from the immediately touristy areas, but still within easy reach of Staithes, Whitby, and Saltburn by the Sea. With a lovely beach tucked away down the beaches, it offers a peaceful and serene environment. The rooms are beautifully decorated and offer modern amenities, such as a copper bath and a comfortable bed. The breakfast served at the guest house is amazing, catering to different dietary requirements. Guests can also enjoy the cozy bar area and the extensive collection of books and games.

Loved the quirky decor and the warm atmosphere of the accommodation. the delicious homemade breakfast and chocolate muffins were a real treat! the host was very welcoming and friendly, providing us with plenty of information about the local area. the comfortable room was well equipped with tea, coffee, biscuits, and toiletries, ensuring a pleasant stay. the location was very convenient, close to the coast and the Yorkshire Moors, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

The bed height was too high for my disabled husband and elderly mother, which made it uncomfortable for them. the accommodation was located in a quiet village, which lacked attractive features.

It was all superb.

The decorations and quirky vibe of the place were simply charming. the owner was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. the comfortable beds and hot shower were a real treat. Plus, the beach and cliffs nearby were absolutely breathtaking - a perfect spot for some scenic walks. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast that left us feeling satisfied and ready for the day.

While the village itself wasn't our cup of tea, there were plenty of amazing places nearby to explore. And hey, if you're a walker, this place is a great stop-off point.
