my previous stay in coln st aldwyns was nice, but this time exceeded my expectations. the staff was wonderfully accommodating, and we were pleased with the delicious food served by the fireplace. it was the perfect valentine's day getaway that i can't wait to revisit.

i was absolutelyyy shocked by the breakfast being served at 8am, when any respectable hotel knows business travelers need to eat earlier, and the food menu lacked proper descriptions, leaving me guessing. and seriously, why didn’t anyone offer me an upgrade or at least a complimentary drink after all that trouble? i was on the verge of giving a better review, but couldn’t.

My recent weekend stay was so enjoyable, especially being just a short distance from Arlington Row and the lovely River Coln, perfect for a leisurely walk. the staff were friendly and the room was spacious and inviting, making it feel like a welcoming retreat amidst the beautiful Cotswold countryside.

The setting is absolutely breathtaking and so peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff are super friendly and the meals were a highlight, especially the breakfast, showcasing local produce and excellent quality.

But the parking situation could be improved as finding a spot nearby was a bit of a hassle. Also, I wish the bread during meals was a bit more generous.

The decor is cozy, with charming ambiance and awesome walking trails nearby. Had a fantastic dinner, too!

Felt so relaxed, no complaints whatsoever.
