The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices to suit my taste. The staff, especially the chef, Coby, were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and had nice, bright rooms with modern amenities. It was also located conveniently close to the railway station, shops, and walking paths.

The location was fantastic, with easy access to amenities and beautiful canal walks. The breakfast was outstanding, a real treat. The house was clean and well-presented, with lovely period features. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. The room had a comfortable bed and a TV to enjoy. The building itself was gorgeous, with Hogwarts-like stairs. Great WiFi and power shower in the ensuite bathroom. The common areas were nicely decorated.

I recently stayed at Oakfield Lodge Guest House in Marple for a few days. The lady who greeted me was friendly and the house had a charming museum-like atmosphere with interesting collections and original features. The bed linen was clearly freshly laundered and the bed and sofa were incredibly comfortable. It was a quiet place to stay and I was able to work on my laptop undisturbed. The building itself is gorgeous, with stairs that remind me of Hogwarts. The staff were extremely helpful, even moving their cars so I could park my large van. The WiFi was excellent and the en-suite bathroom had a brilliant power shower. a wonderful place to stay with stunning views, cleanliness, and great amenities.

We had a great stay at this guest house. The location was perfect, close to the town centre and within walking distance of the train station. The room was spacious and the ensuite was clean. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. The views from the guest house were beautiful, especially the ones overlooking the canal.

The bathroom in our room was quite small, but overall it didn't detract from our enjoyable stay.

Homely welcome, excellent single room, fragrant and nicely appointed. Enormous and varied breakfast in a cosy dining room. Unexpected wildlife visit outside my window, grandchildren loved it. Great start to a lovely family weekend.

I recently stayed at a charming guest house in Stockport and had a wonderful experience. The location was surprisingly convenient, with a supermarket and main street just a short walk away. But the real highlight was the picturesque canal nearby, where I enjoyed leisurely walks and watching the boats pass by. The breakfast provided was absolutely outstanding - a true indulgence! The house itself had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

The only minor drawback was having to change rooms during my stay.

The B&B allowed dogs, had nice carpets and curtains, good ensuite facilities, and a pleasant breakfast room with a variety of jams and juices.

The hotel was a great value for money with spacious rooms and a beautiful view over the valley. The attention to detail was evident, from the immaculate cleaning to the delicious breakfast. The location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the center and the canals.

It is also conveniently close to the town centre, making it a great choice for families with children.

The hand towels in the shared bathrooms were not provided, which was a minor inconvenience.
