During our stay, we found the location of the hotel to be convenient for exploring the Somerset area. It was a short drive away from local sights and attractions. there were plenty of eateries in the vicinity, making it easy for us to find a place to grab a bite to eat. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to an excellent pub where we had a delicious dinner. In terms of accommodations, the room was well-appointed with comfortable beds and a classy shower stall. The breakfast prepared by Jeremy was outstanding, with freshly baked bread and a wide variety of options to choose from.

One aspect that could be improved upon was the busy road outside the hotel, which made walking into the nearby village unsafe.

The cleanliness was impeccable, with the rooms kept in immaculate order throughout our visit. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a spacious and comfortable room that had a huge double bed and separate single beds for the kids. The location was great, situated close to an excellent pub where we enjoyed a delicious dinner on the evening we arrived. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located near a busy road junction, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding area and visit other attractions in Somerset. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing us with all the information we needed and ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast was also a highlight, with a choice of continental or full English options that were cooked to order and incredibly tasty.

Large family room, modern decor, clean, hot shower, comfy beds. Plenty of tea, coffee, DVDs for children. Outstanding breakfast with homemade jams. Views of the hills. Double glazing soundproofs from road noise. Delicious meals across the road. Half hour away from Glastonbury and Cheddar. Would recommend and stay again.

This makes it a perfect choice for those flying in or out of Bristol airport as it is just a short drive away. The hotel is also in close proximity to local sights, such as the beautiful medieval village and the famous Cheddar Gorge. Additionally, the comfortable rooms, excellent service, and delicious breakfast made my stay even more enjoyable.

One minor drawback is that the hotel is located on a main road, which can make it a bit noisy at times, especially in the summer months when the windows are open.

Nothing - it is perfect!

Had a fantastic Easter break with amazing breakfast, which included options such as fresh homemade bread and jams and cooked breakfast. the property was beautifully decorated and in a great location near interesting villages. the car park was tidy and opened onto a beautiful garden, which I enjoyed walking through.

The bathroom was not en-suite and I had to walk across the corridor to get there. the property was next to a busy road which could be noisy at certain times, but it didn't bother me too much.
