The room we stayed in was lovely, with a terrace overlooking the city. It was a shame it was too cold to sit outside, but it would definitely be a great spot in the summer. the hotel really went above and beyond for us, accommodating our friends who were staying elsewhere and allowing them to join us for drinks. We had cocktails in the library and it was a great atmosphere. the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our needs were met.

The breakfast service was a bit patchy and seemed to be due to some inexperienced staff. the small bowl of berries we ordered was quite expensive, even for someone who rarely notices the price.

Great service and location. the staff were friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel at home. the hotel is in a prime location, close to all the main attractions of the city. the rooms were well, appointed and spotlessly clean. the in, room coffee was top, notch. Eating in the restaurant was a recommended experience, with excellent service and high, quality food.

The car parking situation was difficult, as there were not many available spaces and we had to wait for someone to leave. the hotel allowed double parking and moving of cars, which helped but was still inconvenient.

The breakfast offered a great variety of options, including my personal favorite - grapefruit juice. The dinner at the hotel was delicious, with beautifully prepared dishes. The hotel also had a lovely courtyard restaurant and the rooms were quiet and cozy.

I loved the cozy bedroom with crisp cotton bedding and all the necessary amenities. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, from the housekeeping to the front desk. I was celebrating my anniversary, and the complimentary bottle of champagne was a wonderful surprise. The hotel also had named parking spaces and even carried my bag to the room.

I felt totally at home during my stay and had no reason to complain.

The staff also impressed us with their attention to detail, as the maitre d' noticed and promptly replaced our overcooked boiled eggs. The outside terrace provided a lovely setting for meals and drinks, and the wine list was worth exploring.

The personal touch of a phone call prior to our stay to discuss our parking needs and breakfast preferences was highly appreciated. The free parking space was an added bonus in a city like Oxford.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room, although small, had its own patio and was very comfortable. The staff was always pleasant and incredibly helpful. We enjoyed breakfast in the front garden, which was excellent, and the library upstairs was a nice bonus. The hotel bar was also a pleasant place to relax in the evenings. The hotel's location was fairly close to the sights we wanted to visit in the future, and there was a reserved car park space available. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, breakfast, and staff were all top-notch.
