olderfleet b&b in clacton-on-sea was a perfect getaway. the friendly host, julie, and her attention to detail made our stay delightful. the room was well-equipped and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. the breakfast was amazing and left us feeling satisfied. we will definitely be back.

No mini fridge in the room.

Convenient location, within walking distance to town and train station. Clean room with lovely garden view. The owner, Julie, is accommodating and friendly. Nice breakfast with plenty of choices. a homey and comfortable stay.

I loved the location of this hotel near the beach, it was so convenient to have the seaside just a short walk away. Plus, being right across the road from the theater was a bonus. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and complementary coffee and tea. The host was friendly and accommodating, ensuring my stay was pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices to start the day off right.

It would have been more convenient if they were able to accommodate different arrival times.

The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely decor that created a cozy atmosphere. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the mini fridge and kettle, which allowed us to have drinks and snacks at our convenience. The location was also ideal, as it was close to key attractions and amenities, making it easy for us to explore and enjoy our romantic escape.

There was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke in the hotel, which was off-putting. the shared bathroom situation could be inconvenient if all rooms were occupied at the same time.

Had a great new year stay at this hotel! Loved the fully-equipped kitchen with its blue sky color and cozy guest room with luxury carpet. The owner Julie was a delight, sharing fascinating stories and making the visit unforgettable. The location was perfect, close to the beach, supermarket, and shops. The delicious full English breakfast was a highlight. a comfortable and homey experience.

Julie's attitude was a downside. She was initially abrupt and sour, making us feel uncomfortable.
