I had an amazing stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The hotel facilities were top-notch and the attention to detail, such as fresh flowers and a turn down service, was impeccable. The cleanliness of the rooms was also impressive. The location of the hotel was fantastic, providing a peaceful and tranquil setting. The breakfast served was delicious and made with locally sourced ingredients. the staff, facilities, location, and breakfast were all outstanding.

The best small hotel we've stayed in! From the friendly reception to the well-appointed rooms, everything was perfect. The food was divine and the staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The grounds were peaceful and well-maintained, with abundant wildlife to admire. a delightful and charming hotel that sets high standards.

Our room was a bit warm during the hot spell, and we could have used portable air conditioning units. However, we did appreciate the fan provided, even though we found it on the last day.

Everything was absolutely perfect - from the service provided by the friendly and welcoming staff to the well-appointed rooms and delicious, varied food. the hotel's tranquil surroundings and beautiful grounds made for a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. We were particularly impressed by the little extras in our room and the cleanliness throughout the hotel. the staff's dog-friendly attitude was also a big plus. We definitely got excellent value for our money at Overwater Hall. The room was comfortable, clean, and had beautiful countryside views. The location was peaceful and surrounded by stunning scenery. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

The hotel breakfast menu could have been improved by offering more options for those on certain medications, such as grapefruit marmalade contraindicated on statins.
