The hotel is a bit out of the town area, with no stores around. However, this would not deter us from recommending this hotel to others.

It was so convenient to get around, and it was only a short taxi ride from the town centre. The staff at this hotel were amazing. They were especially friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. From the managers to the rest of the team, everyone was so attentive and resolved any issues we had as best as possible. The service was top-notch, just what you would expect from a luxurious hotel.

The breakfast, served in the conservatory as well, offered a good variety of options. Another plus point is the ample parking available at the hotel. I highly recommend Voco for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Although weddings can sometimes be disruptive for non-wedding guests, Voco manages to handle them well, ensuring that other guests are not affected. However, it would be advisable for the hotel to ensure they have a sufficient stock of tequila, especially during the summer and wedding season.

We spent Christmas at this hotel and we loved the cozy and festive atmosphere. the staff were very welcoming and we appreciated the complementary mulled wine and mince pies upon arrival. the location was perfect for us as it was close to a bus stop, making it easy to explore the nearby towns. We also enjoyed the lovely views of the river from our room.
