Staff brilliant and helpful, comfortable bed, large room, clean and fresh, welcoming staff.

Nothing to dislike.

We were initially worried about the dated rooms, but to our surprise, we were given a disabled room that was spacious and comfortable. The staff were lovely and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. The hotel also provided free parking, which was a bonus. Despite a minor issue with a hole in the wall and a broken window latch, we reported it to reception, and they promptly addressed it. The room service was quick and reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel for its helpful staff, spacious rooms, and convenient amenities.

I recently stayed at the Mercure for a wedding. Despite a few hiccups, the staff, particularly Chris and Simone, were exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was lovely with a great view, and the amenities like the fridge and large TV were much appreciated. The complimentary birthday card and chocolates for my husband's 80th birthday were a delightful surprise. The room was clean, comfortable, and had useful extras like dressing gowns and slippers. we loved our stay and would recommend the hotel.

They were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with a bed that provided a good night's sleep. We appreciated the amenities provided, such as the heating and air conditioning, as well as the tea and coffee facilities. the service and quality of this hotel were top-notch.

The dinner menu was lacking in healthy options and service was quite slow. during a fire alarm in the early hours, there was disorganization and lack of assistance, which could have been a serious issue.
