On a warm sunny day, the Beer Garden at the hotel provided a lush backdrop, perfect for enjoying a refreshing drink. The location is also superb, with Sophia Gardens bus station just a 2-minute walk away, providing easy access to the castle and other attractions. With spacious bedrooms, excellent showers, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast, this hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The noise from the vibrant pub downstairs might be a problem for those seeking an early night.

The hotel is located in a wonderful area of Cardiff called Pontcanna, so close to the city centre. The rooms are well-equipped with modern appliances and have character. I loved the attention to detail, especially the wonderful rain fall shower in the spacious and clean bathrooms. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast, included in the price, was delicious.

loved our weekend stay in cardiff! pontcanna inn exceeded expectations. staff were helpful and the location was perfect for exploring sophia gardens and bute park. the room was clean, modern, and had all the necessary amenities. comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep!

Great location, close to main shopping area and lots of restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable with a good-sized en-suite. the bed was also very comfortable, which helped us sleep well.

No breakfast offered in the morning. we found the stairs to our room to be quite steep and difficult to climb, especially after a night of celebrating the New Year.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel in a lovely area of this city called Pontcanna. The location was ideal, very close to the city centre but not noisy, and only a 2-minute walk from Sophia Gardens bus station. The breakfast we had in the pub was really good. we were impressed with the cleanliness, hotel facilities, transportation options, and the friendly staff.

I also enjoyed the pub downstairs, which had great food and a lovely outdoor bar area. it was a great value for money and my best stay in 3 years of visiting Cardiff!

I loved the wonderful rainfall shower, it added a touch of luxury to my stay. The location was perfect, nestled in a nice quiet area right next to the Sophia Gardens bus stop and close to both the city center and bus station. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, making me feel right at home. The breakfast, although small portions, was included and definitely hit the spot.
