I was pleasantly surprised by the charm and character of the hotel, with its beautiful Victorian artefacts and memorabilia. The garden courtyard was a lovely spot to relax. My twin room had a pleasant view of the garden, although it did get a bit stuffy at times. The breakfast was plentiful and hot, with efficient service from the staff. The doorman was particularly informative and helpful in sharing future offers at the Premier Collection hotel. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Additionally, the hotel's location directly opposite the train station meant that it was conveniently accessible and within a short 10-minute walk to the city center, with plenty of pubs along the way.

The superior King suite was amazing with a comfy bed and lovely decor. The Kings Grill restaurant was out of this world, pricey but well worth it. Staff were helpful and polite throughout our stay. We'll definitely be back!

I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel near a train station and it was a fantastic experience. The location of this place is perfect, just across the road from the train station and within a level 10 minute walk of the city centre. It's so convenient to be able to easily explore the city without having to worry about transportation.

our celebrating anniversary stay at premier collection in chester was beyond amazing. helpful staff, stunning historic building, and excellent rooms with interesting art. enjoyed lunch and g&t in the charming courtyard. quick check-in and delicious breakfast buffet. location was a pleasant 10min walk to city centre. highly recommend, we would stay again.

The location was perfect, just outside the main streets but close enough to walk into the centre, and right outside the station. The staff at the reception desk were very professional and helpful. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed, including ironing facilities and a mini-bar. We also enjoyed the lovely breakfast with a good choice of food. The staff members were welcoming and had a smile on their faces, which made a huge difference. All in all, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

That some of the staff members weren't very welcoming, except for a lovely chambermaid who helped us when we couldn't get into our room. However, this didn't overshadow the overall positive experience we had at this venue.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, as it was close to the train station and a short walk to central areas. the room was a decent size and had good value for the price. the breakfast was fantastic and had a great selection, including quality sausages and hashbrowns. the breakfast team was also efficient and attentive to guests' needs.
