The hotel itself was a beautiful old building, with charming wooden panels and a through lounge area. The breakfast was outstanding, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. The hotel's enviable position in the forest made it a peaceful and memorable experience, especially listening to an owl hooting outside our bedroom window.
