The room was spotless and we were pleasantly surprised when we got upgraded to a classic room. The food at the restaurant was top-notch, especially the truffle macaroni and the gnocchi. The staff were knowledgeable and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend and return to this hotel. Despite a small issue with a fire alarm and slow service at breakfast, the experience was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Rufflets in St Andrews for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel's location, just a short distance from the town, allowed for a peaceful and quiet stay. The common rooms were tastefully decorated and provided the perfect setting for enjoying a cup of tea and a good book. The staff were incredibly polite and pleasant, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's gardens were beautifully maintained, with impressive topiary, adding to the overall charm of the place. The room itself was traditional yet extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was well-equipped with lovely peach-colored towels. The small touch of a teddy bear on the bed was a delightful surprise. Breakfasts in the large dining room overlooking the gardens were outstanding, served with exemplary service. the experience was luxurious and highly recommended.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I appreciated the warm and cozy atmosphere of the room. the Christmas decoration gave a festive and cheerful touch to the place. I liked the fact that every morning there was a variety of options for breakfast, including traditional Scottish dishes. the staff was always helpful and provided an excellent service.

The hotel is not very close to the city center, so it was difficult to move around without a car. the surroundings of the hotel were not very convenient for going out for a walk.

This place exceeded my expectations in every way. The location, nestled in large lovely gardens, was the perfect balance of being just outside the hustle and bustle of the city, yet still within a convenient distance. The beautiful trees and well-maintained gardens created a serene and peaceful atmosphere that made my stay even more enjoyable. The service here was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate my every request. From the room service to the dry cleaning and the housekeeping, everything was taken care of with the utmost care and attention. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. I especially loved the sitting area and the terrace, where I could relax and take in the stunning views of the gardens.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location impressed me with its rolling landscape and interesting fishing villages along the coast, in addition to the obvious attraction of the university and golf courses. The staff made all three of us feel very welcome and even allowed us to have breakfast in the bar with our dog, who has separation anxiety. The gardens were absolutely stunning, with beautiful roses and meticulously maintained lawns. I also appreciated the range of amenities offered, including room service, an airport shuttle, and a welcome drink.

Although this place is a little out of town, which could be seen as a positive or a negative depending on personal preference, I would highly recommend it to anyone.
