I had the most delightful stay at this hidden gem called Salmon Landings. As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and generous welcome. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with everything well-fitted and exceptionally clean. I loved having water and coffee/tea making facilities in my room. The bathroom was spotless, and the water pressure was fantastic. The conservatory offered breathtaking views, and I had the pleasure of witnessing a stunning sunset. The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and provided valuable tips for my next journey. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, with ample food and impeccable service. I only regretted staying here for just one night, but I will definitely be recommending this place to all my friends.

The location is absolutely stunning with breathtaking views and private access to the water's edge. The property is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. The hosts, Julie and Kevan, are incredibly kind, helpful, and generous. The breakfast is superb and Julie goes above and beyond to accommodate special dietary needs. Kevan is a delight to chat with and provides great advice on local attractions. We felt refreshed and didn't want to leave.

Some guests may find the road to the hotel a bit challenging to navigate, especially if arriving after dark due to the lack of streetlights.

The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the sea and the nearby Orkneys. the location felt secluded, which added to the romantic ambiance of our escape. the hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. the room was cozy and the bed was unbelievably comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. the breakfast served was delicious and filled us up for a day of exploring.

One small downside was that I accidentally booked a twin room instead of a double, which was my own mistake. finding the property could be slightly challenging, as there was no sign on the main road.
