I stayed at Shirley House for a few days and it exceeded my expectations. The room was sparkling clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable with plenty of pillows. The kitchen was well-equipped and organized, making it convenient to cook meals. The location was great, with shops and a bus stop nearby. The manager, Monica, was incredibly helpful and responsive. The customer service was exceptional, and I felt at home during my stay. I would highly recommend Shirley House to all my friends and family visiting Southampton.

Had a lovely stay over Easter with friends. The rooms were super clean, spacious and well-kept with complimentary tea and coffee in our room which was a nice touch. The shared kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook a meal, including a washing machine. The location was perfect for us, with shops, restaurants and public transport nearby. We enjoyed the short walk to the city centre which took us about 20 minutes. we loved the warm and quiet atmosphere, and the friendly and helpful staff.

The only downside we experienced was a misunderstanding about the state of our room when we checked out. Unfortunately, a cleaner accused us of leaving the room in bad shape and leaving ‘sick’ in the bin, which was untrue and very insulting.

We had a great stay at a self-catering guest house close to the cruise ship terminals and city centre. The host was extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious with large windows and a comfortable en suite bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed, including tea and coffee, and there were even kettles in the room. We were pleased to find washing machines and a dryer available as well. Although the location was a little bit of a walk from the city centre, we didn't mind because there were grocery shops and restaurants in the nearby Shirley area. We also appreciated the parking space available in front of the house. the cleanliness, comfort, and friendly atmosphere made our stay very enjoyable.
