The pub located next to the restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and adds to the overall charm of the place.

There were a few issues with some food intolerances that were not properly accommodated, causing the need for changes in the food orders.

We had a fabulous time at this hotel! The building itself is spectacular, with lovely large rooms that have lots of character. The restoration work is evident, with high ceilings and a mix of old and modern design. The food was absolutely amazing - we had breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner during our stay and everything was delicious. The staff were exceptionally polite and made us feel very welcome. Plus, the hotel is dog-friendly and even provided a dog bed for our furry friend.

That the kitchen closed early on Sunday, and we wanted more of the delicious food! We also noticed that some of the rooms were accessed by going outside and across an open roof patio, which might be a challenge for guests with mobility issues.
