The hosts at Stratton Gardens were extremely welcoming, offering tea and cake in the garden upon our arrival. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, with crisp sheets and soft towels in the bathroom. The spacious bedroom had a large, comfortable bed, and the garden was a beautiful and inviting space with tables, chairs, and even a swinging seat. The breakfast provided an excellent selection of homemade preserves, cereals, and traditional options such as eggs and bacon. Gill and Richard, the owners, were friendly and informative, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful guest house! The house itself was clean, tidy, and tastefully decorated with local artwork. The hosts were amazing, offering tea and cake in the garden upon our arrival. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with the hosts accommodating any special requests. The bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We also enjoyed the separate guest lounge with a cozy fireplace and a great selection of books. The garden was a joy to relax in, with a swinging seat and beautiful flowers. The two friendly cats added to the charm of our stay.

The room had a nice view and the breakfast was tasty with a lot of options to choose from. The hotel is in a great location, close to the main road and local transportation. We also enjoyed using the guest lounge, with puzzles and wine glasses available for guests.

The mattress was too soft for our liking and we had trouble sleeping. the weather didn't allow us to use the outdoor seating area, which was a shame.
