We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at Studios At Glenthorne. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet area with the beautiful Brecon Beacons just a short drive away. The room was spacious and clean, with a well-stocked kitchenette and a lovely bathroom. The service provided by Claire was exceptional, as she went out of her way to help us get our bearings and make the most of our weekend. The breakfast options were fantastic, with both continental and cooked breakfasts available in generous portions. We also loved the fact that there was a huge grocery store down the Grove, making it convenient for all our shopping needs. everything was just perfect, from the comfortable rooms to the excellent service.

The thin ceiling and walls, which allowed some noise to filter through from beyond the room, affecting our sense of privacy at times. However, despite this small inconvenience, the overall experience was still clean and comfortable.

I stayed at Studios At Glenthorne for a weekend course at the local hospital. The owners were amazing, offering me a lift both days. My studio had a damp smell and visible signs of damp, which was a bit concerning. Although a dehumidifier was provided, I believe the studio should not be used until the damp issue is fixed or at least guests should be notified about it.

The only slight drawback is that the staircase in this beautiful period house can be quite creaky, causing some noise in the studios.
