The hotel had excellent facilities and was very clean. The parking was convenient and transportation was easy. The location was perfect, situated in a delightful village with a pub that served great beer and delicious evening and breakfast food. We also enjoyed sitting in the beautiful beer garden by the church or in the grassy area next to it. Additionally, the hotel was just a 15-minute drive from historic Nantwich and provided easy access to the Lake District.

Nothing to dislike.

The food was fabulous, generous portions, beautifully cooked and presented. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms with thoughtful touches. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location with beautiful views. Great selection of biscuits in the room. Pub/restaurant service was exceptional. Warm and comfortable room, amazing shower. Proper single bed for our child. Friendly staff in the bar. Missed out on nature walks due to bad weather.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were extra comfy and the bed linen was fresh and crisp. The bathroom had big fluffy towels and an excellent powerful shower. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, making me feel welcome and safe during my visit. The hotel itself had a quirky and unique decor, with interesting objects and art throughout. There were plenty of little nooks and crannies to explore, and a cozy roaring fire to relax by. The breakfast was delicious, cooked to order, and served by a delightful staff member named Ron who made every morning bright and cheerful.

I highly recommend this hotel to others. The location is idyllic with brilliant views outside the pub itself in a lovely area.

Good Atmosphere and Tasty Food, but Disliked: Long Wait and Uncomfortable Room

The hotel's atmosphere during the New Year's celebration was great, and the food was really good. One positive aspect was having a friendly and helpful staff. Another was the lovely decorations that added to the festivity. Plus, the hotel had an excellent location close to some local attractions. However, I disliked that the waiting time for meals was quite long and it took a while to have our orders taken. Additionally, the room was uncomfortable with a drafty window and a mattress that was too hard, which made it difficult to have a good night's sleep. the stay had both good and bad aspects, making it a mixed experience.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pub offered delicious traditional food and a great selection of beers and ales. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had recently renovated bathrooms. The location provided beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We also appreciated the separate external access to all the rooms. a lovely stay with great value for money.

We felt extremely welcome during our stay, with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The food at the pub was absolutely amazing, beyond expectations! the menu had a variety of options and the specials board offered even more choices. the starters of garlic bread with cheesy mushrooms were delicious. the main dishes, such as the cheese and onion pie and chicken, ham, and mushroom pie with homemade chips and vegetables, were flavorsome and filling. the beer "leaning tower" was a delicate taste and highly recommended. the staff were friendly, courteous, and provided excellent service.

The accommodation aspect of the hotel was not up to par. the room we were allocated was on the smaller side, and the mattress was noisy, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

We had a fantastic stay in this charming inn. The location, nestled in the nearby fields by an old spooky church, was incredibly peaceful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a powerful shower and all necessary toiletries provided. The service was top-notch, with helpful and cheerful staff. The breakfast was exceptional, likely the best we've ever had, served quickly by a very cheerful host. The pub area was cosy, adorned with interesting artifacts and photographs. our stay at this inn exceeded our expectations.

The dimly lit entrance to the chalets was a bit inconvenient.
