We stayed at The Ashley for 4 nights and were extremely pleased with our stay. Despite not having a sea view, the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet and we didn't hear any noise from other guests. The towels and possibly the bedding were changed on day 3, and the shower gel, tea/coffee/biscuits, and bottled water were replenished daily. The highlight was the excellent breakfast with attention to detail, including good coffee, fresh butter, and a wide range of high-quality produce. The breakfast set us up for the day and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The property was immaculate and the proprietors, John and Pauline, were helpful and friendly.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Ashley in Morecambe. the breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of choices and delicious food. the room was spacious and had a stunning view of the Lakeland hills and the bay. It was spotlessly clean, and the decor was crisp and traditional. the bed was comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom had a walk-in shower. Pauline, the owner, provided a cheerful and relaxing environment, ensuring that all modern expectations were met. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

The towels were refreshed on the third day, and there was attention to detail with daily replenishments of shower gel, tea/coffee/biscuits, and bottled water. The breakfast was fantastic, with fresh butter, milk, and juice on the table, and the use of high-quality produce made it a satisfying start to the day. The couple running the hotel were friendly and helpful, adding to our enjoyable stay.

On the one hand, the breakfast offered by the hotel was absolutely fantastic - I loved the variety of cooked food they provided. the hotel's location was ideal for my needs, making it easy for me to get around and attend my meetings. Finally, the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep.

the customer service was quite poor - the staff didn't seem particularly interested in helping me with anything and were mostly absent. the rooms were quite outdated and didn't have many modern amenities.

Excellent location for promenade walks, with stunning views over the bay. Spacious, well-equipped room on the second floor with comfortable bed. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection, including eggs. Convenient free parking at the rear of the property.

We had a wonderful time staying at this place. The location was great, right on the sea front, offering stunning sea views. It was perfect being at the end of the promenade, far enough away to enjoy a peaceful stay but close enough to easily walk to the pubs and shops. The service provided by the staff was excellent - they were extremely polite, thoughtful and very good hosts. From the beautiful room to the yummy breakfast and the very welcoming owners, everything was top-notch. We also appreciated the free parking and being next to the beach.
