The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. the location of the hotel was great, situated in a historic village. This added to the overall charm and atmosphere of our romantic escape.

No en-suite bathroom, misleading room descriptions. Unfortunately, our room did not have an en-suite bathroom as we were expecting.

We had a wonderful stay at Ye Olde Smugglers Inne. The room was cozy and full of character, with slightly sloped windows and floors that added to its charm. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly owners, who served us a delicious breakfast that included toast, pastries, cereal, yogurt. The inn is located in a lovely village, close to the beautiful Sussex coastline and attractions like the Seven Sisters cliffs and Beachy Head. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and memorable stay.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of a beautiful and quiet town. It was easy to find and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. the room itself was spacious and had a lot of character, which added to the overall charm of the place.

the lack of parking was a bit of an inconvenience, with the nearest public car park being quite a distance away. the continental breakfast provided was a bit underwhelming for the price of the room.

We had a fantastic Christmas stay at this hotel! The room was small but cozy, with comfortable twin beds and good reading lights. The hotel's location was perfect, situated in a charming village with interesting houses and beautiful scenery. We also enjoyed the tasty and reasonably priced supper offerings at the traditional pub downstairs. Plus, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The bathroom was a bit tight and might not be suitable for larger individuals. Additionally, the stairs to the rooms were quite steep and eccentric in design, which may pose a challenge for some guests.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make us feel comfortable during our Christmas stay. the location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the South Downs Way for beautiful walks, and also close to nearby beaches. We also appreciated that the hotel was dog-friendly, allowing us to bring our furry friend along for the holiday.

While the staff was mostly friendly, there was one older gentleman behind the bar who was a bit abrupt with us upon arrival and with my aunt and uncle during dinner. the breakfast options were quite limited, with only boxed cereals, shrink-wrapped pastries, and a single flavor of yogurt available.
