We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location in a lovely area allowed us to explore the beautiful gardens and nearby Cotswolds. The service provided by the staff, from the receptionist who was very helpful and friendly to the young waiter who informed her manager about a foreign waitress shouting at customers, was excellent. The room was well-appointed and had all the necessary amenities, including an ironing facility and a flat-screen TV. The restaurant offered a delicious breakfast with a wide selection of items to choose from. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services, making our stay truly enjoyable.

The hotel is in a fantastic location in a gorgeous Cotswolds area. It is situated in the centre of a gorgeous town, making it convenient to visit both Burford and the surrounding area. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast served was excellent, and the hotel facilities were great.

The decor on the ground floor with beautiful flowers creates a great atmosphere upon arrival. The receptionist was helpful and efficient. Luxury soaps in the bathroom were a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was of good quality. The dinner was enjoyable.

I had a lovely stay at a beautiful 15th century inn with individual rooms of excellent taste! the Tanfield Room was gorgeous with stone floors, a good sized bedroom, and additional lounge area and hall. the staff were warm, friendly, and efficient, and the breakfast options were fantastic. the hotel grounds were outstanding with plenty of seating and a pretty garden courtyard area. Highly recommend this special place for some R&R.

Lovely view even in the rain, with French doors opening to the garden. Good-sized rooms, ample parking, and a great breakfast with healthy choices. Quaint and cozy atmosphere with wood-burning fires.
