The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is situated in a quiet area with good bus links and close to shops on the high street. The staff were friendly and willing to offer advice on the area. The room was well-furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the facilities were excellent, including an espresso machine. Breakfast had plenty of tasty options on the menu.

As adventure travelers, we loved the modern pub ambiance with the comforts of an English pub. The friendly and accommodating staff made our stay enjoyable. The food quality was amazing, with excellent options for both breakfast and lunch. The recently refurbished room and bathroom were of high standard, and we appreciated the comfy bed and coffee machine. The location was great for exploring Oxford, with easy access to buses and helpful staff guiding us. Plenty of parking spaces were available, and the surrounding Headington Shops provided alternative options for shops and restaurants. a lovely and quiet location that we would definitely stay at again.

We spent New Year's Eve in this lovely boutique pub-hotel located in a peaceful villagey area. the breakfast in the morning was varied, delicious, and ideal for vegetarians. the staff were friendly and accommodating, lending us an iron when we needed it. the location was convenient as it was easy to find and with lots of buses providing easy access to nearby attractions.

The room we stayed in had single-glazed windows that didn't shut properly, which kept us up at night due to the noise of passing cars. We also found it difficult to work in the dimly lit room.

The staff went above and beyond by providing me with a packed breakfast when I couldn't make it to the restaurant. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was clean and modern with a great shower, and the complimentary toiletries and drinks were a nice touch. The ambience of the hotel, including the bar and food, was lovely. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area!

We had a great stay at Black Boy. the staff were excellent and the food was very nice. the room was cosy and the breakfast in the morning was excellent too. Although we couldn't experience the beer garden due to the rain, overall it was a lovely and clean place to stay.

This place was in a quiet area, not far from a bus stop that takes you to the city centre. The staff provided excellent customer service and the rooms were well-maintained, with amenities such as ironing facilities and tea/coffee making facilities. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a nice touch and the flat-screen TV added to the comfort. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were great for relaxation, and the garden provided a lovely setting.
