The location was perfect - so close to the beach and town centre. the rooms were spotlessly clean, and the evening showers were so refreshing. Would DEFINITELY stay here again. It's even better in person than in the photos! .

charlesworth is spotless - with immaculate bedding. it's a short walk to the beach and town. brian and wendy are very helpful. a shop is nearby, and the hotel has convenient parking. they even let guests stay longer in the car park for conferences.

The location was amazing! Just a short stroll to the beach, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, pubs, and a corner shop nearby. We were able to leave our car in the parking lot for a few extra hours after checking out, a major convenience.

The bed was a bit too firm for my liking, and the building, although charming, showed signs of age in some areas. the bathroom was on the smaller side but served its purpose adequately.

Situated close to a lively pub, making it convenient for a fun night out. Just a short stroll away, the beach offers a relaxing getaway during the day. the hotel is surrounded by a variety of shops and restaurants to explore.

The unstable bedside cabinets might pose a risk.

Stayed for a weekend with my partner, loved the spotless rooms and the impeccable bedding and towels, plus the friendly and helpful hosts. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the convenient on-site parking. 🏖️ Delighted by the relaxatio opportunities, like the nearby beach access. Only downside was the slightly worn-out bathroom facilities, but didn't bother us much as the overall stay was fantastic! Can't wait to return in the summer.

So close to the beach, we caught mad waves and chilled at the local bars. the room was dope, with comfy beds and big windows letting in that sunlight. Perfect spot for kickin' back after a day of pure madness!

Miso Korean Restaurant is a spicy gem just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Trouville serves up seaside vibes just a stone's throw from the hotel. the Connaught Brasserie has that classy touch, perfect for a posh nosh. Plus, 1805 Restaurant dishes out historical flavors worth a try.

Those beds felt like a lumpy beach, and the loo light playing games was a cheeky inconvenience. the scorching shower in a family room was a bit of a surprise, but those mysterious droppings didn't dampen the fun vibe.

we had a delightful stay at Charlesworth. the hosts were warm and accommodating, the room was clean and comfy, with nice amenities. location was convenient, just a short walk to eateries and attractions. we felt welcomed and well taken care of during our visit to this charming property. looking forward to returning in the future.

The hotel had the most charming decor, with lovely floral prints and cozy seating areas that made me feel like I was in a lovely English garden. the general areas were well-kept, and it was easy for us seniors to navigate around the hotel with clear signage and spacious hallways.

I wish the children working there would consider offering more senior-friendly activities or excursions to cater to our age group better.

The owners here were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay feel extra special. They even helped my family with parking and guided them to the right spot. Our room was spacious and perfect for our family, with a clean and comfortable bathroom. the beach is just a short walk away, which was amazing for daytime swims and walks. We felt right at home with the fresh towels and housekeeping service.

One minor thing to improve would be adding a curtain over the doorframe to block out light in the family room. a small adjustment could make a big difference in creating a cozy atmosphere.
