The Charlton Arms is a hidden gem with a modern, comfortable atmosphere. The dinner and breakfast were superb, and the location is perfect for exploring the old town. The rooms offer a marvellous view and I particularly enjoyed the spaciousness and the large bathroom with a free-standing bath. As a birdwatcher, I was thrilled to spot a variety of feathered friends from the room overlooking the beautiful River Teme.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the river by a historic bridge. The view from the breakfast room is superb, overlooking the bridge and offering a fascinating view of the town. The rooms are recently decorated and strike a good balance between functional and interesting. The staff is cheerful and the service is prompt and attentive.

It is a disappointment that there is no residents' lounge, making it difficult to enjoy pre and after drinks without taking pot luck in the bar.

We had a wonderful stay at the charming B&B in Ludlow. The location was convenient and easy to find. The breakfast and dinner options were delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, pleasant, and couldn't do enough to assist us.

I recently stayed at the Charlton Arms in Ludlow for a weekend getaway. The staff were amazing, always going the extra mile. The bar had a fantastic selection of beers, especially the wonderful Ludlow brewery range. The breakfasts were delicious, and the evening meals were both tasty and creative. The location of the hotel was convenient, right by the river and a short walk to the town center. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. it was a great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming riverside hotel. The classic double room may not have been perfect, but the riverside suite made up for it. The views of otters and kingfishers were a delightful sight, and the large bed and good shower added to our comfort. The restaurant's excellent food, combined with the picturesque dining room overlooking the river, made for a memorable dining experience. The hotel's central location was convenient for exploring the town and enjoying walks right from our doorstep. We found the staff to be polite, attentive, and created a pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay.

The service at the restaurant was quite rushed, and the staff seemed to be hurriedly completing their tasks instead of taking the time to make us feel comfortable. the food was not up to par with what we were expecting for our Thanksgiving meal.
