I had a delightful stay at this charming pub/hotel in the heart of the town. The location was excellent, close to the river and with very little street noise at night. The room, although not huge, was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was tasty and cooked to order. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great location, comfortable rooms, and tasty breakfast.

Had a pleasant stay overall. Loved the fluffy towels and comfy bedding that were provided during our Thanksgiving visit. The hotel’s central location was great for exploring the town during the festive season, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The friendly staff helped us with our enquiries and the room’s characterful decor added a touch of charm to our holiday.

The upstairs corridors were slightly shabby and carpets stained. We would have preferred better for the price that we paid as we only managed to sample the average breakfast.

This hotel is right in the centre of town, making it easy to explore Marlow and all its attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were well-decorated and equipped with all the key amenities, including a big ensuite shower. We were also impressed with the attention to detail, such as the outside tables directly underneath our window, allowing us to enjoy the lively atmosphere. The breakfast, which included options from a local artisan bakery, was a delightful start to our day.

I stayed at a lovely accommodation at the end of my long walk along the Thames path. The Chequers offered a comfortable and quiet room, decorated to a high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding, with great produce. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
