The room had a quirky charm I liked, but cleanliness issues were glaring , thick dust, grime in shower, and missing tap caps. Breakfast was underwhelming. Noise from the pub next door disrupted sleep. On the upside, staff were great and the large room was well, appointed. The music was loud till 2 am, and early check, out was a downside. No sleep before 2 am due to the noise. The management pre, opening windows on a hot day was a nice touch. The spacious room was pristine, with a fantastic bathroom. The confusing breakfast situation and small single bed were disappointments. a decent stay but with some drawbacks.

The room was amazing, perfectly clean and huge! the bathroom had a deep bath and separate large shower with jets. the lounge room was well set up, and the bedroom was spacious with nice lighting options. the staff was friendly and helpful, the location was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. the hotel is conveniently located near various landmarks, such as the Chester Rows and Chester Cathedral, allowing for easy exploration and family bonding.

i had a wonderful stay at the Commercial Bar & Hotel, scoring a suite for a steal at £108 for 2 nights. the spacious rooms, accommodating staff, and enjoyable breakfast were highlights of my experience.

The hotel is very convenient with a great location in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore. the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a lovely bathroom and plenty of room to relax. the breakfast offered a good variety, including options for vegetarians and a tasty full English selection. Detail: the room on the top floor had a double bed rather than single beds pushed together. The breakfast included a choice of vegetarian options, though the sausages were not the best quality. Cons: Improvement needed in the noise level during the weekends.

The breakfast was just presented to me, there were no options or checking that I could eat what was on the plate. I am vegetarian and wasn’t given an opportunity to say so. the breakfast looked great and would have been amazing if I could eat it. So I recommend the breakfast but make sure you tell them as early as possible what your requirements are. The guy who was working there was very nice and accommodating. Very friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. Cons: Bed heights mismatched.

Just stayed at a hotel with stunning architecture in the town center. Room was spacious but noisy. Staff were LOVELY though. Would come back for the sun terrace! .
