The rooms were clean and nicely decorated with some unique touches. We particularly enjoyed the underfloor heating, which added a cozy and comfortable feel to the room. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with good service throughout our stay. The location was also convenient, with easy access to a nearby park and ride for transportation into the city.

One aspect we found disappointing was the quality of the food. Our meals were mediocre and didn't meet our expectations.

Stayed at Compasses for a wedding at Leez Priory. It's a little gem! Lovely rooms, spotless and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. The pub has charm and character, with a welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. The location is convenient, just a short drive or 25-minute walk to Leez Priory. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

The Compasses is a hidden gem located in a peaceful country area, perfect for a stop-over during a longer journey. The cozy rooms are immaculately clean and provide a warm and comfortable stay. The friendly and accommodating staff go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, serving a delicious full English breakfast with tea/coffee and biscuits provided. The location, surrounded by farm fields and a quiet lane, offers a serene atmosphere. Despite being off the beaten path, the bar is lively and busy, giving a taste of local atmosphere.

The room was spotlessly clean and had a super comfy bed with lovely pillows. The staff were friendly and accommodating and breakfast was cooked to perfection. I also liked the traditional feel of the pub and its good selection of ales.

The remote location could be a downside, especially for those without their own transportation. the bathroom lights took a while to turn on and the bedside table was a bit creaky, but this did not significantly affect my overall experience.
