As a young family, we loved the upgraded room and the friendly staff. The food in the bar was excellent, especially with the 50% off discount. The menu surpassed our expectations and the complimentary birthday Prosecco and local beers were a nice touch. The location was ideal for local walks and exploring the Chatsworth estate. The breakfast had a good selection and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and had extra sockets for charging our devices. The staff were pleasant and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The beds and decor of the twin room were exceptional. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. The location was convenient for sightseeing, especially Chatsworth House.

The location is perfect, with a pub opposite for a delicious dinner on the second night. Being just near a bus station was a bonus, making it easy to explore the nearby Manor House. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. The basic amenities provided everything we needed, and the rooms had a good view. We even received two complimentary locally brewed beers upon arrival, and our furry friend had a cozy dog bed waiting for them. The inclusion of breakfast was a nice touch, ensuring we started each day off right.

There was one negative aspect that caught my attention - the driveway leading to the car park had a few potholes that should be addressed for a smoother entrance.

Having stayed at the Devonshire Arms, we were pleasantly surprised by the great hospitality we received. The staff considered our long journey and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. They kindly asked the kitchen to stay open a little later so we could order a meal after 9pm. Additionally, they even prepared breakfast for us before the usual time as we were participating in a charity hike in the morning. These gestures made our stay truly enjoyable.

The room felt outdated and the decor was not appealing. The bathroom had obvious signs of wear and tear and could benefit from some repairs.
