I was really impressed with the value for money at this cozy local pub. The room I stayed in was beautifully modern and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough to make my stay enjoyable.

I had a lovely stay at a pub with rooms called Dog In Over Peover. the room was clean and had nice en-suite facilities. I especially appreciated the coffee making facilities in the room. the staff were incredibly helpful and polite, going above and beyond for their guests. the breakfast in the morning was delicious and there was even a log fire in the breakfast room. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

I recently stayed at a traditional pub in a lovely village, and compared to other similar places I have stayed recently in the area, this one stood out. The location was perfect, as it was close to the event we were attending. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with recently refurbished bathrooms that had dream walk-in showers. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff and a gentleman serving breakfast with a great sense of humor. The breakfast itself was outstanding, with a wide variety of choices and proper loose leaf tea served in a pot.

The lack of communication about a private party in the bar area and the resulting noise disrupted our relaxation and sleep.

We stayed at The Dog for a nearby wedding and were pleasantly surprised by this fantastic place. Despite its remote location, it was bustling with happy customers even in the afternoon. The rooms were great, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding. We especially appreciated the discount for single occupancy and the convenience of having one key for both the pub and the room. A must visit again!

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and decorated to a high standard. The ensuite bathrooms were clean and had powerful hot showers. We were also impressed with the extensive breakfast menu and the professional and friendly service from all the staff. The location was picturesque, and we can imagine the beer garden being stunning in the summer months. We would definitely stay here again.
