Plenty of parking available, easy check-in process. Fantastic plus room with lush decor featuring solid oak furnishings. The bar and restaurant offer excellent food and drinks. a lovely evening and night stay.

I recently stayed at a charming country pub located in the beautiful Lancaster area, right by the Forest of Bowland. The hotel surprised me with its excellent value for money. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the friendly staff, who made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were tastefully decorated and well-maintained, with a spacious bathroom that had a huge bath and a first-rate shower. The breakfast was delicious, with fantastic bread that was a delightful addition each morning. Additionally, the hotel's location in such a scenic part of the country made it the perfect base for exploring the area.

Just had a wonderful stay at a fabulous property close to the M6. the Fleece Inn in Shireshead was remarkable, with exceptional service and a beautifully renovated interior. the staff were attentive and provided a spacious ground floor room for my elderly parents. the bar was welcoming, with roaring fires and a great selection of local beers. the dinner menu was excellent, and breakfast was equally impressive. a lovely break and we will definitely be returning!

Staff were amazing, really helpful and friendly. the room was spotless and spacious with a fantastic bathroom. the bar had a great selection of ale and wine. the evening meal for our group was superb with no complaints.

Some minor issues with cleanliness, as the desk fan was dirty and the black pudding at breakfast was undercooked. It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room for drinks.

The three little green lights in the room were a bit distracting and prevented us from having a completely peaceful night's sleep. It would've been better without them.
