There was nothing I didn't like.

Had a lovely Xmas stay at this hotel! The room size was great and we really enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions. One of the best things was the attentive and friendly staff, who made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

There were a couple of downsides to our experience. the lighting in the room was poor.

The value for money was great, the room had a romantic charm and the staff were lovely. The location was perfect, with plenty to see and do in the area, and the staff made me feel well taken care of.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

Comfortable stay in a historic building. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had a great range of dishes. The room had original features and was spacious. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Cranbrook, close to shops and attractions. Despite being near the kitchen exhaust outlet, the room was cosy and warm with a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome. The breakfast had a good selection on the menu and the scrambled egg with salmon was delicious. Free parking throughout the village was also a plus.

The staff seemed unable to provide proper directions when we were just a few hundred yards away.

We had a wonderful experience at The George Hotel & Brasserie. The historic building and village added charm to our stay. The room was clean and well-appointed, and we enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant. The staff, especially the young lady at the bar and the gentleman who looked after us in the restaurant, provided exceptional service. Despite a minor issue with the shower, our overall experience was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel for its lovely ambiance and friendly atmosphere.

This hotel is ideally placed for tourist sites in the center of town with plenty of local amenities.

Everything was satisfactory and nothing stood out as needing improvement.

The room was modernised and in good condition, with plenty of hot water. The towels were luxurious and the beds were comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent with first-rate service. The staff were lovely and the food was very good. Steph was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. There were plenty of hand sanitising stations and a one-way system for the main hotel toilets. Free onsite car parking was available.

Felt safe walking at night, no complaints at all.

Staff were fantastic, always helping with table reservations. Perfect location with lots to see and do. Stunning building with comfortable areas. No WiFi in the room but fine in the bar. Room had a wow factor, including a nespresso machine. Felt very looked after as a solo traveler. Will happily recommend.

This hotel has a lot of historic charm and character certain to give you a unique and memorable experience. The building is tastefully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The complimentary water in the room and toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch. the location is highly convenient, being situated near some of the city's most wonderful gardens and complimented by a lovely village that has some very charming individual shops.

The shower temperature was not consistent, taking quite some time to warm up. the shower screen's bottom seal was displaying stains of black mold.
