We had a wonderful stay at George! Room 23 was spotless and had a very comfortable bed. The walk-in shower was fantastic. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The bar and restaurant had a warm atmosphere and the food was delicious. we were extremely impressed with everything and would highly recommend a visit to this characterful hotel in Argyll.

Our stay at the George was worth every penny. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and the ensuite with a spa bath was a luxurious touch. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town, and the staff treated us with professionalism and friendliness throughout our stay.

The George Hotel in Scotland is a hidden gem that captured my heart during my recent stay. the location is absolutely stunning, nestled on the shore of Loch Fyne. The picturesque views from my room were breathtaking, making it a perfect stopover for anyone driving north or south. Secondly, the staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout my stay. I particularly loved the attention to detail in the rooms, with traditional furnishings and even jacuzzi baths in some! Lastly, the breakfast served at this hotel was a delightful experience. The variety and freshness of the food exceeded my expectations and set me off on my day with a satisfied stomach.

We also had a fantastic evening meal at the restaurant, where the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel's warm welcome to guests with dogs was a nice touch. We can't wait to return and highly recommend George to others.

The location of this hotel is ideal, as it is situated close to the loch and right in the centre of town. You can easily explore all the interesting sights and attractions without having to go far. The rooms are individually decorated and offer luxury accommodation. The bathroom includes a jacuzzi bath, perfect for relaxation. The service provided by the staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast, especially the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, is absolutely delicious.

The evening meal we had was a bit disappointing, as the food seemed to have been cooked beforehand and reheated.
