Noisy room, disrupted sleep.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of town within walking distance to everything Whitby has to offer. Whether you need to catch a train or a bus, the hotel is conveniently situated for public transportation. It's also great value for money, with affordable prices that won't break the bank. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring that you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are well-equipped with all the basic amenities you could ask for, including a shower cubicle or even a bath if you prefer. The windows can be opened to let in fresh air, which is always a plus. The breakfast included in the stay is a nice touch, although the bread could have been of higher quality.

The George Hotel in Whitby was very well located, right in the heart of the town near bars, shops, and restaurants. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The double room, although a bit small, was clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the late bar on the weekend nights. we had a great value for our money and would definitely stay here again.

We decided to spend a romantic weekend in a charming old hotel that was very close to a beautiful beach with gorgeous sunsets. the staff that greeted us were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made us feel at home right from the start. the cleanliness of the rooms was also impressive, and it's clear that the management takes pride in this hotel.

There were a few aspects of our stay that detracted from the overall experience. Late at night, we had a difficult time finding the reception desk as there wasn't any signage indicating where it was.

The room was lovely, spacious, and impeccably clean. The en-suite bathroom was huge and had plenty of clean white towels. The breakfast, although continental, was plentiful and of good quality, with a nice variety of fruits, breads. The location of the hotel was convenient for transportation and close to local amenities. The highlight of the stay was the warm and powerful shower in the recently refurbished bathroom. I would highly recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms, cleanliness, and excellent breakfast.
