I found it slightly inconvenient to have limited plug choices for charging my devices.

we stayed at golden boar and were warmly welcomed by the staff. our room was spacious and had a nice touch with tea and coffee available. the food at the in-house restaurant was delicious. the bar staff were friendly and even offered us a night cap. overall, a pleasant stay with welcoming service and good amenities.

The friendly staff and nice views to the rear of the building at the Golden Boar in Newmarket create a welcoming atmosphere. However, the hotel requires some tender loving care and a skilled chef in the kitchen to reach its full potential.

The hotel has great potential with its friendly staff and nice views to the rear of the building; however, there are significant cleanliness issues and maintenance problems that need to be addressed. the lack of clear communication regarding the limited restaurant hours and breakfast options was disappointing and inconveniencing.

Exceptional staff, lovely village pub, great food, spacious rooms with nice views, super dog-friendly.

The area was nice, loved the old construction vibes and the friendly staff, especially Ella. the room was clean and spacious, perfect size for a comfortable stay.

The shower was a struggle- couldn't even stand properly, and sharing an old bathroom didn't help. the room facing the car park had a window that wouldn't shut, causing lots of noise.
