As women traveling alone, we felt really safe and comfortable at this cozy inn. The beds were divine and the rooms quiet, offering a great night's sleep. The staff was lovely and welcoming, always happy to help with anything we needed. The inn's location in a beautiful countryside setting was perfect for taking scenic walks and exploring nearby footpaths. The restaurant served a delicious Sunday roast dinner with excellent gravy and Yorkshire puddings, and the cheese board selection was superb. The inn also had a great selection of teas and coffees, including a cafetiere for brewing a smashing cup of coffee. The onsite shop was very convenient for picking up essentials.

We also appreciated the lovely terrace and garden furniture, where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The free toiletries and electric kettle were thoughtful touches that made our stay even more comfortable. The hotel also provided free Wi-Fi and parking, which made our stay even more convenient.
