We recently had a lovely weekend break at a charming inn with friendly staff. The location was ideal, being close to the National park and offering beautiful views from the quiet garden. The room was excellent, providing a peaceful retreat. The pub area was cosy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of walking. We also enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast with great coffee each morning.

One small downside was a minor mistake with the room size, but the hotel promptly informed us in advance and we were understanding of the situation.

We had a fantastic time exploring the stunning landscapes of the nearby national park. The location of the hotel was perfect for easy access to both the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. We also enjoyed a relaxing afternoon out in the spacious beer garden, soaking up the sunshine. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent, especially during breakfast, which was included in the affordable price.

The location was ideal for visiting small towns and interesting places nearby. The breakfast spread was simple but delicious, especially the croissants and coffee. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting in the beer garden before breakfast, soaking up the rural setting. We would definitely return to this great family and adult holiday location.
