We had a bit of trouble finding the entrance, circling the roads twice after a tiring journey. Once inside, our cozy room proved a little too warm at night. the fancy shower with multiple jets and hearty breakfast options made our stay enjoyable. I'd suggest this place.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hawthornes Licensed Guest House. Dee, our friendly host, made us feel very welcome and accommodated all our needs. the room was modern, comfortable, and dog-friendly, with a large bath and a soft, cozy bed. We also loved the gazebo-type covered area where we could enjoy food and drinks or simply relax. Breakfast was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the thick-cut multi-grain toast that was made to order. We highly recommend visiting the tea room for afternoon teas and cakes. a fantastic experience that we would definitely repeat when in the area.

The breakfast provided was also one of the best we've had at a hotel.

my recent stay at a guest house in Knottingley was absolutely amazing. The rooms were cozy and spotlessly clean, with everything I needed. The host, Dee, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The continental and full English breakfast options were delicious. Can't wait to visit again!

On the positive side, the hosts were experienced and friendly, doing a great job despite being there for only nine months. The secure parking was definitely a bonus. The breakfast was top-notch - well presented, well cooked, and thoroughly enjoyed.

The location was a bit tricky to find, tucked away behind another place, and the website's promise of soundproofing didn't quite deliver - we could still hear traffic and noise from adjacent rooms. The shower was a real hassle, too complicated to figure out, and the basin plug didn't work.
