I loved the clean and cozy annexe accommodation at the pub in this charming village. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making it a convenient option for my work visit to Haverhill. Despite the nearby church bells, the room was warm, comfortable, and offered good value for money. The provided breakfast snacks and additional amenities were a nice touch, enhancing the overall experience.

The historic pub is located in a picturesque village green, offering stunning views of the Stour Valley. the room, though compact, had everything we needed and was quite charming. the staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the pub's accommodation for bringing our own food and providing cutlery and condiments. it was a peaceful and delightful experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Five Bells. the location was stunning, and being able to park right outside our accommodation was so convenient. the pub had a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, and even though they didn't serve food, they were more than accommodating when we brought our own or ordered takeaway. We had a lovely picnic with a cold cider while enjoying the lively vibe of the pub. the staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the village itself was beautiful. it was a great experience.

It was nicely decorated and had a lovely view over the village green. the large screen TV on the wall was a bonus. the bed was comfortable and the pub itself had a relaxing atmosphere. the staff, particularly Lesley and Sonny, were amazing and helpful. Looking forward to staying again in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed at Five Bells in a beautiful village. Nice, clean rooms with great views. the pub had great cocktails and friendly staff. They helped us find food and advised us on nearby breakfast options. the location was perfect, with a lovely garden to sit in. the room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely planning to stay again.

The Barn rooms were clean and offered stunning views. the pub itself was fantastic, serving delicious cocktails. the staff on Friday night were extremely helpful and friendly, going out of their way to assist us in finding food. We ended up dining at the George Restaurant, which though a bit pricey, served excellent food and was conveniently within walking distance. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay at the Five Bells again.

Located in a picturesque village, it offers stunning views of the village green and the charming church across the road. The newly redecorated rooms, with their comfy beds and adjoining wet rooms, provide a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. Breakfast is available at nearby cafes, and there are plenty of dining options in the village.

The owners were incredibly nice and attentive throughout our stay. The location at the top of the green in the charming village of Cavendish was perfect. The staff at the pub were warm and friendly, making us feel welcome. Even though the pub wasn't serving food at the time, there were plenty of nearby dining options within walking distance or available for delivery. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend staying at this lovely hotel.

The church bells chiming throughout the night may bother light sleepers, but earplugs solved the issue for us. Additionally, it would have been helpful to have kitchen facilities or a small fridge in the room, though it seems they are planning to include them in the future.
